Times-7 ESG Goals

From its inception, Times-7 has embedded sustainability into the fabric of our operations, decision-making, and company culture. We have made a long-term commitment to designing and supporting products that are built to last - deliberately choosing durability over disposability in an industry where planned obsolescence is common. By prioritising longevity and ongoing support, we reduce waste and minimise the environmental impact associated with product replacements.

In mid-2024, we strengthened our sustainability focus by developing a formal ESG Policy aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This policy articulates how sustainability is embedded across all areas of our operations and guides a holistic approach that balances environmental stewardship, social responsibility, employee wellbeing, and long-term economic resilience.

3 Pillars of our ESG policy

Environment

Minimise GHG Emissions & Waste

Reducing our carbon footprint through sustainable shipping, renewable energy transition, and comprehensive waste management across our global operations.

Social

Safe, Inclusive Workplace

Creating a respectful environment where all team members thrive through flexible policies, mental health support, and continuous feedback

Community

Positive Community Engagement

Building meaningful relationships through local partnerships, supplier ethics, charitable support, and transparent sustainability reporting.

ESG Implementation Roadmap

Following the establishment of these goals, we undertook a company-wide review to identify the most effective strategies for achieving them. The Sustainability Plan outlines clear, actionable responsibilities tied to each goal, with implementation shared across all levels of the organisation.

Every team member contributes to advancing our sustainability journey, and we actively encourage cross-functional feedback to drive continuous improvement.

We believe that true progress requires shared ownership, and by engaging our entire workforce, we are building a culture where sustainability is not just a value - it’s a daily practice.

What informs our strategy

Our sustainability strategy is informed by a combination of data analysis, stakeholder input, and alignment with global frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. At the core of our approach is a commitment to making informed, impactful decisions, starting with a clear understanding of our environmental footprint.

We voluntarily conduct an annual greenhouse gas emissions inventory across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 to establish a data-backed baseline and identify the areas of our business with the greatest impact. This allows us to prioritise actions that will deliver the most meaningful reductions and avoid relying on assumptions when setting targets or designing initiatives.

In addition to emissions data, we undertook a company-wide review that engaged employees from all departments and levels. This inclusive process revealed sustainability opportunities that might have been overlooked by a single team and ensured that our strategy reflects operational realities and cross-functional insights.

By combining rigorous data analysis with broad internal engagement, we’ve developed a comprehensive and practical Sustainability Plan that prioritises reducing emissions, minimising waste, and embedding sustainable practices throughout our operations, while supporting our ongoing business growth. Our strategy, while based on the three high level organisation goals, are adaptable based on stakeholder input, feasibility, and our growing capacity for impact.

Where to from here

Times-7’s sustainability journey is a clear example of how values-driven action can deliver tangible benefits across people, planet, and profit. Over the past 15 months, we’ve moved from strategy to measurable results, reducing emissions, eliminating waste, enhancing supply chain integrity, and fostering a culture of responsibility and care.

Our efforts have strengthened stakeholder trust, opened doors to new business opportunities, and positioned us as a credible, future-ready partner in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

As a proudly New Zealand-based manufacturer, we’re not just meeting compliance but setting a higher standard. We look forward to sharing updates on how we are progressing with our goals each year.
